So a few weeks ago, the homeskillet, DJ Wordy, asked me: “Hey, do you want to DJ in Vietnam?”
Me: “Pho sho!” [sorry, couldn’t resist]
Wordy: “You’d have to play commercial hip hop. You cool with that?”
Me: “Sure, no problem.” [See disclaimer in prior post.]
Wordy: “Can you send the promoters a commercial hip hop mix?”
Hmmmm, now I’ve been wanting to check out Vietnam for years now. Have heard overwhelmingly positive things about the place, including all the epicurean delights. And I do love me some pho. So while I had never really thought about making a commercial hip hop mix before, I was like, yeah why not, I’ll make a commercial hip hop mix if it can get me to Vietnam.
And here is that mix: “In Da Clurrrrbbbb (NJZ).” And Vietnam here we come!
